My online sports betting picks last week were pretty darn solid and I am pleased with how things went. Whether it was the NBA, NHL, or soccer, my online sports betting wagers cashed in. Here is hoping you followed some of my recommendations!
Online Sports Betting – UEFA Champions League
Ok, this was slightly over a week ago but deserves a recap nonetheless. The 2017 Champions League Final saw Italian powerhouse Juventus face off against Spanish superstars Real Madrid in Cardiff, Wales. I had picked Real Madrid to take home the hardware although the possibility of an “Italian style” Draw was a real threat.
However, Real turned on the jets early and Juventus could not compete with that level of attack. The final was a 4-1 for Real Madrid who celebrated their 12th title and their second in a row. If you like betting on soccer then don’t despair as there is always tons of soccer lines to wager on at RealBet pretty much year round.
Online Sportsbetting – Belmont Stakes
I didn’t have time to write up my picks for the third leg of the Triple Crown but I did like the looks of Tapwrit. The Belmont Stakes is always the toughest of the Triple Crown races to handicap and this one was no different. I passed on this year’s edition mainly due to being forced to spend time with my family- but, ummm, I would have most likely taken Tapwrit and Irish War Cry.
NBA Betting Online – Golden State Warriors Win
After last year’s Cleveland Cavaliers miracle comeback victory, I thought that this series would go at least six games. Given how the first three games went it turned out that it was lucky to go five.
The addition of Kevin Durant was definitely supposed to make a difference but I am not sure anyone could have anticipated how big of a difference. Hopefully you followed my advice and made some nice profit betting GSW aggressively. When it comes to online sports betting, this year’s NBA Playoffs were hard on handicappers and easy on the wallet.
Sports Betting Online – 2017 Stanley Cup Finals
I personally was cheering for the Nashville Predators to win the 2017 Stanley Cup but it was not to be. Despite a brilliant playoff run, the Preds just could not overcome a determined and highly skilled Pittsburgh Penguins squad.
The Pens, led by the indefatigable Sidney Crosby, were simply on a mission to repeat as defending Stanley Cup Champions. I had picked the Pens based on offensive firepower which proved to be the deciding factor. Pekka Rinne had to be magical every night, and when he wasn’t the Preds got blown out. At the end of the day it was a phenomenal NHL Playoffs and I am already looking forward to next year.
