2016 College Football Playoff National ChampionshipThe 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship is just days away and the team here at RealBet can’t wait for it. Sure Christmas is nice. Turkey is good. Presents are welcome. But does anything really compare to the thrill of spending a New Year’s Eve watching two big bowl games that are simultaneously the semi-finals for the NCAA Football Championship game? We don’t think so.

2016 College Football Championship – Alabama v.s. Oklahoma Final

This year looks like a humdinger as the nation’s top four teams prepare to battle it out for ultimate bragging rights. New Year’s Eve will see two playoff bowl games played to determine who goes to the College Championship. The #4 Oklahoma Sooners will play the #1 Clemson Tigers in the Orange Bowl, and the #3 Michigan State Spartans will play the #2 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Cotton Bowl. The smart money is most likely on Alabama and Oklahoma facing off in the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, with the Sooners being the favorite to win the whole thing.

2016 Bowl Games – Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl

There has been some criticism of the new playoff format but I am nothing but a big fan of the revamped college configuration. The criticism prior to the changes was that the winner of the BCS Bowl may not in fact be the best team in NCAA Football, and that the process of voting teams created an unwelcome sense of bias at times. The new playoff system does a much better job of ensuring that the title goes to the team that is truly the best in the country, while retaining the excitement of the Bowl game format.
