If you are looking for UFC 200 betting then RealBet is the online sportsbook site with all of the very best in MMA action. In honor of the “bicentennial” of UFC action, I have put together my top picks for the upcoming fights in Las Vegas- just another belligerent Saturday night on the Strip!
UFC 200 Picks – Jon Jones
We can’t talk about UFC 200 without addressing the steroid in the room. Jon Jones has shockingly failed a USADA drug test from June 16th, which in true Dana White style was just announced yesterday. Jones had previously failed due to testing positive for cocaine and was given a short suspension. The recent test however appears to be more serious than party favors, and most likely is a PED or performance enhancing drug aka steroids.
MMA Lines and Odds – Daniel Cormier vs. Anderson Silva
So after a teary press conference from a genuinely contrite Jones, Dana White announced that Jones’ opponent and current Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will still fight at UFC 200 v.s. MMA legend Anderson Silva. Although Silva’s accomplishments are historic and he is still competitive, it is hard to imagine that he is going to take out a younger, fight ready Cormier. Cormier at -500 is still most likely the best bet although the value is pretty lean.
UFC 200 Betting – Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt
The really secret here is that Brock Lesnar, with all of his beast charisma aside, is actually a fairly mediocre MMA fighter. Don’t get me wrong- he would bury me and ten guys like me all at once- but compared to other top fighters he is a bit meh. However, he is a huge fan favorite and has been on some of the biggest UFC cards of all time. His crossover appeal from WWE ‘wrasslin’ means that Lesnar can draw big crowds and enrich Dana White. And let’s face it, he looks like a total badass. However, Lesnar is currently sitting at +140 while Mark Hunt at -170 is the favorite. Even though I really like the idea of betting on Lesnar, I will think with my money and take Hunt.
MMA Wagering and Picks – Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes
Tate’s smack talk is always good and she usually backs it up with solid fights. “Cupcake” Tate is a -260 against a +200 Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes, and I would say that is most likely a safe bet although again a little thin on value. When in doubt take defending champions in the UFC as they typically get the benefit of the doubt if it comes down to scoring.
