Wimbledon odds and lines are now up at RealBet.eu and there looks to be some good value for smart tennis bets. There is not a lot of parity in the top ranks of tennis at the moment, and that can be made to work in your favor as a bettor. How so Jerry, you ask? Well let me share some of my 25 years of tennis betting wisdom- but if anyone asks you didn’t hear it from me.
Wimbledon Odds – Tennis Betting Tips
My personal approach is that when there is a lot of parity at the top, there is also more opportunity for getting on the good side of dog bets. In essence, finding weakish lines. Although that seems counterintuitive given that dogs pay better with less parity between players, I would rather take smaller dog tennis bets than long dogs against heavy favorites. The idea is that you will make a return more consistently which is better for bankroll management.

However, when there is less parity you can hammer favorites harder with a degree of certainty and use them to anchor good parlay wagers. A perfect example of that is Novak Djokovic, who currently is essentially unbeatable in men’s tennis. Djokovic is -150 to win Wimbledon, and I think that is more than a fair price and one you could land on pretty hard.
You can then use Djokovic as the second leg for a parlay on any other single bet to increase odds for both. This is a fantastic way of getting more value of out the Serbian while also taking value bets elsewhere. Remember the other leg of your parlay can be on any other sport.
Women’s Tennis Lines – Wimbledon
In Women’s tennis there is some more parity creeping in, and the recent victory of Garbine Muguruza at the French Open might be the signal that Serena Williams‘ total dominance is over. However, Williams at +140 remains the clear favorite at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, with Muguruza and Petra Kvitova coming in at +500. I like Muguruza as a solid value bet here- she is young, talented, and on the way up. You can never count out Serena Williams, but with a nagging hip injury she may not be at her best.
